Framed: a poem for Safestyle
A terrace house is my abode, I’ve lived here many years,
I’ve made a lot of changes, with lots of new ideas,
The overall appearance, is what counts a lot to me,
So I thought of brand new windows, that’s on show for all to see.

I’ve seen a lot of adverts, in magazines and on TV,
And so I had to make a choice, which came easily to me,
Along came the salesman, to show me all his wares,
He gave me all his patter, which didn’t much matter,
At least it shows he cares.

There and then I said I wanted, five windows and a door,
The deal was done, a date was set, I couldn’t ask for more,
The fitters came at 8am and started straight away, Mick and Ian were their names, both had much to say!
Old windows out, new ones in, it didn’t take them long,
A professional job done from the start, Mick even sang a song!

Now the job has finished, with nothing more to do,
I pay the dosh and bid farewell, they even cleaned up too.
