Very pleased, will be using again
We were looking to replace 2 bedroom windows as they had broken down & we were getting so much condensation. We had no intention of signing up when the salesman came to visit but in the end he offered us such a great price we couldn't refuse. My husband is a builder & could have done them himself but the price quoted was abouts the same as what he could get them for & it saved the hassle of him doing the fitting.
The surveyor was very professional, & it only took a few weeks for our windows to be made up. A letter of confirmation was sent re. what date & time the fitters would be arriving. Unfortunately the only let down was that the fitters didn't turn up between 8-10am as planned, quite a problem for me with 3 young children that had to be taken to school I had to get someone to sit at home while i nipped out. About 10.15am I rang the customer service team who confirmed I had the correct info & they had the depot rang back & told me that we were now scheduled in for 1pm, not a problem but would have been nice to receive a phonecall as my afternoon now to be a little awkward as I had to pick kids up from school, football club & then onto swimming lessons - not everyone has the time to sit at home all day!
Anyway, despite all this, the fitters were very friendly, apologised for the mix up & said someone should have rung us. They got on quickly with the job & wasted no time getting the old ones out. Once completed we were very impressed with new windows, they look lovely both inside & out. The fitters tidied up very well & hardly made any damage to the decor, just a few marks as to be expected - certainly nothing major. We had the A grade windows & noticed the first night how much warmer the rooms were & less traffic noise. We are still getting some very slight condensation but the last 2 nights have been very cold & we still have a couple of windows upstairs that are extremely bad so this may be why.
Overall we are very happy with the products the price which we paid. Safestyle have made a good job & we will be having them back to do the rest when we can afford it. I was slightly worried after we had signed up & I read some awful reviews on other sites about this company but they have done exactly what we asked for & my husband (who is very picky as in in the building trade) says they have done well. We have no hesitations in recommending, thank you Safestyle.
